CEC-ABS Entertainment Concepts, L.P. is a subsidiary of CEC-ABS Entertainment responsible for proposing and executing projects designed to improve the experience of patrons to its Chuck E. Cheese's family entertainment centers (after which CEC-ABS is named).

Operations[]

CEC-ABS Entertainment Concepts, L.P. is responsible for proposing, planning and executing projects ("concepts") designed to improve and enhance the experience of patrons to CEC-ABS' Chuck E. Cheese's family entertainment centers.

These "concepts" include, but are not limited to:

  • In-store promotions and competitions
  • Games and attractions, such as Chuck E.'s Sketch Book and the Ticket Blaster
  • Chuck E. character merchandise, either made by a KKABS subsidiary, Kabushiki Gaisha ABS itself, or another company under license from CEC-ABS

Merchandising[]

Outside of Chuck E. Cheese's locations, CEC-ABS Entertainment Concepts creates its own original merchandise items branded with the Chuck E. character's image and likeness.

Before ABS acquisition, CEC Entertainment Concepts licensed the Chuck E. Cheese's name and characters to some toy and clothing makers. Since the 2016 ABS takeover, this has continued, however CEC-ABS Entertainment Concepts also announced that it was going to expand into more merchandise categories by itself, with plans for items such as pre-packed lunchboxes, talking plush figures, and even downsized versions of the same Chuck E. costumes worn by staff. The lunchboxes were put on sale by September 2016 as a branch of the Kraft-Heinz Lunchables brand.
