General Elvin Sjöberg (November 28, 1919-July 13, 2011) was a Havilha-born revolutionary figure and politician.
Havilhan Revolution Edit
In April 1963, Sjöberg united the entire island of Havilha and lead the independence movement against the United States, Brazil, and Sweden. The island gained its independence on May 1, 1963. It became a communist state under Sjöberg's regime.
Sjöberg died on July 13, 2011 due to natural causes. He is still survived by his wife Alma, his son Sebastian, and his daughter Maja.
After his death, the National Assembly voted Gustavo Leitão Peres to officially take over as president of Havilha.
