For the chains operations as a whole, see Chuck E. Cheese's.

Chuck E. Cheese's is a chain of family restaurants owned and operated by CEC Eruowood Co, Ltd., a regional operating arm of CEC-ABS Entertainment, Inc.

HistoryEdit

The chain began operations in 1984 under the "Showbiz Pizza Place" name and the ownership of SPT Eruowood Co, Ltd.

In 1989, the Eruowoodian operations of the Showbiz Pizza Place chain were closed, then reopened under the "reunified" Chuck E. Cheese's brand. Titular mascot character Chuck E. immediately took the space of Rolf DeWolf, performing alongside the other Rock-afire Explosion animatronics until 1993 when a late Concept Unification lead to the rest of the RAE characters being removed and replaced with Chuck E.'s rightful "bandmates". Another change in ownership would take place in 2016, when Japanese conglomerate ABS took over the chain and planned a large-scale renovation of Chuck E. Cheese's brand image.

ShowsEdit

The following animatronic show stages have been known to be in use at the Eruowoodian Chuck E. Cheese's:

  • CU 1-Stage M (so far only six CU 1-stage Ms are in use as of May 2017)
  • The Studio C line (Alpha, Beta, Cappa, and Delta; Delta is only in use at one location as of October 2016)
  • CU 3-stage (only six 3-stages remain in Eruowood)
  • CU 1-Stage (most common stage in older locations)
  • "Circles of Light" stage (most common in post-ABS-takeover locations)

Animatronic and walkaround charactersEdit

Animatronics Edit

The following animatronic characters have been known to be in use at the Eruowoodian Chuck E. Cheese's:

  • Chuck E. Cheese (Tux Chuck, Avenger, and Rockstar; used on all stages) (Avenger Chuck E. is the most common animatronic, only three CU 3-stage locations have Tux Chuck animatronics as of October 2016)
  • Chickadee Jones (region-specific name used for Helen Henny - "Henny" is an Eruowoodian slang word for a woman's private parts) (CU 3-stage, CU 1-Stage M, CU 1-stage)
  • Mr. Munch (CU 3-stage, CU 1-Stage M, CU 1-stage)
  • Jasper T. Jowls (CU 3-stage, CU 1-Stage M, CU 1-stage)
  • Pasqually (CU 3-stage, CU 1-Stage M, CU 1-stage)
  • Munch Jr. (CU 3-stage, CU 1-Stage M; most CU 3-stage locations had this animatronic not programmed)
  • Building (CU 3-stage; only one location still has this animatronic programmed)
  • Moon (CU 3-stage; was carried over from the RAE stage shows, but some CU 3-stage locations had this animatronic not programmed)
  • Pizzacam (CU 3-stage, CU 1-Stage M, Studio C Delta; some location had their Pizzacams upgraded to the new Pizzacam HD, some CU 3-stages had this animatronic not programmed)

The Building is the rarest animatronic in the Eruowoodian chain. Most locations either have it no longer programmed or removed. The Moon is the second rarest animatronic in the Eruowoodian chain and just like Building, most locations either have it no longer programmed or removed. Munch Jr. had made a comeback on some CU 1-Stage M shows, but most 3-stage locations either have it no longer programmed or removed.

Walkaround characters Edit

The main 5 characters (Chuck E., Chickadee, Munch, Jasper and Pasqually) also exist as walkaround costumed characters.

Arcade games Edit

Since 1999, the Eruowoodian Chuck E. Cheese's chain has been offering 1 token per play coin-op games and rides. Some locations prior to ABS' takeover of the chain had games with multiple token prices; this trend has stopped entirely as of October 2016.
